				 | Who Wrote The Koran?

When I read through the Koran I get a clear impression that a single person was responsible for its production. Someone wrote it, or supervised its writing - decided what should be in it (using the works of a variety of other people). It was obviously written in the early 8th century - but presents itself as having beem written 80 or so years earlier. Also - it contains deliberate lies. |

I thought God supervised its writing or dictated the actual text?

Mohammed received it from the Archangel Gabriel and dictated it to others.. (allegedly). What lies do you say it contains? |

What I have read so far points to no particular time. Not to the 8th century, not to the first century, not to any century. Since it includes references to Jesus and Christians, it must have been written during the Common Era, but aside from that, I have seen no time markers in the text.
