Oh I don't know....money, power, prestige, a ten-car garage, shark-skin suits, alligator shoes...and a really funky hat....just ask Benny Hinn!

Seriously, I would question the external and internal motives of any religous leader. I think you will find that on some level, most religous leaders have their motives however subtle despite all the talk of 'serving God'.

lol.. I agree with you there. There's always going to be someone out there to exploit religion or anything else for personal gain.

Mr. Hinn is no leader of mine, and is the poorest representative of the Christian faith. I'm more of a Billy Graham kinda guy.

"And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever" (Revelation 20:10). This verse clearly gives us the duration of hell. Hell is forever and ever. How could a stronger, more certain expression be used? If the Spirit of God wanted to communicate the eternal nature of hell to men what could communicate it better than the expression "forever and ever?" The Scripture has no higher expression which is used to denote eternity than "forever and ever" for it is the very phrase used to tell us of the eternal existence of God Himself, as in Revelation 4:9: "to him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever." Does anyone doubt that God will live to all eternity? How then can you doubt that hell will not last to all eternity when the same expression is used for both?

Note that it specifies exactly who will be tormented forever and ever. The devil, the beast and the false prophet. How do you draw the conclusion that everyone will be tormented from that? As a matter of fact, the very next chapter of Revelations refutes your claim.

Did you see that part about the second death Half-Life? It explicitly says that those people will die in the lake of fire.

Nope, when we die this is the first death (physical death.)

When we are thrown into the lake of fire (which lasts forever) this is the second death which is eternal seperation from God in the pit of fire. Being thrown into the lake of fire forever is the SECOND DEATH because we are eternally seperated from God. It doesn't mean we just cease to exist.
