Admit?! Believe me, I never even considered questioning it. Indeed, I am rather glad. Where would we be if we did not exist? Tell me that.

It seems that I made the NOMA comment in haste. Thanks for the responses.

Well, one hypothesis is that you would be part of God's mind.

Anyway, it does not matter, Kennethamy. The very fact that you would not explore this issue is enough to question whether your philosophy is serious.

And the issue is whether I exist? Or what is it?

Why do you think "do I exist?" is not a question worth investigating philosophically?

I honestly do not understand.

Because if I can ask that question, the answer must be yes, I do.

Morris Cohen, who taught philosophy at the City College of New York. was asked by his 101 student, "prove to me that I exist", and Cohen looked around, and said, "Who's asking?".

And what if "who's asking" is part of God's mind and hence not truly a who?

And what the answer is is not important. What is important is that we ask the question. Why don't you ask the question, Kennethamy?

Please explain this to me. Why is it important that I question whether or not I exist? If there is an "I" to question its existence, it necessarily exists.

Seems to me that in this context "is" is synonymous with "exists". Do you understand things differently?
