Default Does God have nipples?

Man was created in God's image.

Men have nipples.

Therefore, God has nipples.

-or-

Why do men have nipples?

If I remember correctly, it's because all human embryos start out as female, so nipples are just left over from our development in the womb.

Therefore, Adam could not have had nipples, because he was created by God, and females weren't even thought of yet.

So, either:

a) God has nipples
b) Adam didn't have nipples
c) God doesn't exist

Somewhere in there is my definitive proof that god doesn't exist. What do you think?

You'll probably get hit by some line like, "man's soul was created in the image of god's ephemeral nature" or something else dodgy like that.
That's how I see them evade the genitalia issues as well, among others.

No, no, the answer is "God has nipples, unless God decides that He doesn't want to have nipples. With God, all things are possible. And right now, it's possible that God has nipples."

On a more serious note, Plognark is probably right. Since most Xian denominations don't envision God as a material being, the question is moot. Or if they envsion God in human form, it's as Jesus, and Jesus *did* have nipples.

I think this thread belongs in Existence of God(s), not Evolution/Creation.

Alrighty. I thought it had something to do with evolution, since it makes it kind of hard to argue that man was created out of dirt.

I think it belongs in Elsewhere. Its a pretty pointless topic with the sole purpose of making fun of Christian theology.

Generally, E/C is more science/evolution oriented than special creation oriented. Besides, your own words said it: ultimately, you were arguing against the existence of a god.

No it doesn't. It's a valid question to fundamentalist creationists that I'd be curious to see an answer for. I just make light of it like I make light of everything, because I don't take any of this too seriously.

If you don't take it seriously, why do you care what we think? Is it to boost your ego? Make you feel superior? For someone who doesn't believe in God, it is a very stupid question.

We care because, well, some people DO take it seriously, and that's a scary prospect.
