S2Focus - :notworthy

You brought a chuckle in the midst of a long day of Oracle PL/SQL programming... hard to do.

Tut-tut! Fancy asking them to consider science, and not the "real" science that the good folk over at AiG do! That site contains an absolute load of bollocks!

They had a thread titled "the Problems with Evolution" that has a whole bunch of baloney posted in it, so I started a thread entitled "The Problems with Creationism". In it I addressed a number of falsehoods presented in the other thread, plus some flood geology "crap" as I referred to it. I also called Ken Ham, Taz Walker and Steve Austin "crackpots". The thread was immediately locked for using obscenity and personally attacking people. I offered to edit the post to meet their guidelines but received no reply. I made a post that questioned the admin's motives and was throw off the board and denied access. Very christian of them, very christian indeed!

I see this is your first post. Welcome to Emerginglife.

would you please take a few moments and post a testimony in our testimony forum?

that would help us alot in getting to know you better.

Thanks.
Translation:
"Hi, please tell us if you're able to humiliate us, that way we can manipulate your posts to make you look either uninformed or hostile, then ban you."

A "testimony" is a typical thing for creationist organizations to have (ICR, AiG, DI)... They always consist of the statement, "I believe in creationism; no evidence will change my mind, however irrefutable and abundant. My purpose is to find the nonexistent evidence for my belief, or else to lie, misrepresent, or fudge data and statements to fit my needs."

It would be interesting to see, S2Focus, how DeeperStill reacts if you choose to ignore his request. No response will have a positive result for you, so it seems to me that ignoring it altogether is the first step. My guess is that DeeperStill will keep pushing. After all, the best way to judge a person's statements is based on that person's beliefs, not the value of the actual statements themselves...

Folks, we normally ship threads that are primarily commentary on another board off to ~Elsewhere~. Interesting though the test that's been posted is, I'm afraid that's the fate of this one now. Off it goes. You can follow the redirect to it there.

Not only is S2Focus' post still up, but it is drawing high praise!
Check out great post which follows and be sure to view the diag. Pity he left out his noodlyness the FSM.

Thanks for the great post on a very timely issue caerbannog.

IDT is hitting the press a lot these days and evolutionists are really trying hard to distort IDT to mean creationism. Kuyper has a recent blog on this very issue that is most helpful. Check out his blog entry entitled "Confusion about Intelligent Design Theory". I also posted a diagram after his blog that for me helps clear up some of the confusion.
If anyone else comes up with some other interesting news on the latest in IDT, feel free to post away!

Holy Christ-on-a-stick! What an intellectually dishonest circle jerk that site is. If anyone ever needed more evidence for the dangers of inbreeding...

I'm tempted to register (a la S2Focus) just so I can post in the "all gays are evil sinners" thread and ask them what is their official 'Christian' position on hermaphrodites.
