Just as an aside, the word 'servant' in James and Jude is an incorrect translation. The greek word is δουλος (doulos) which is properly translated as 'slave.'

Further, people cannot be blamed if they jump to the conclusion that the reason you fail to answer the direct challenge is that you cannot, that is, that you were wrong and don't have the chutzpah to admit it. I am not very knowledgeable on this subject, which is why I have asked the questions I posed in this thread. You have lost a valuable opportunity to educate me. If you know of any sources requested, would you be so kind as to provide them. If not, would you be so brave as to admit it. If you fail to do either, you should stop making this and similar assertions on this board.
It won't make much of a difference, he will simply point you to some apologetic website. All the references in those books are short, if you look for yourself I am sure that the answer will seem obvious to you. I do agree with your post, however.

I'm trying to think of a way to "get closure" on O_F's failure to back up his assertion or answer my question without getting modded out of the thread. I'll just say that he has lost any credibility he may have had with this reader, and in future I will treat all his assertions as baseless. I believe that disregarding them will in effect reduce the quantity of his arguments by approximately 90%.
