Has anyone here read this book? I came across it browsing Amazon and find it intriguing. I was wondering if anyone at IIDB has read it and would offer up a review and/or recommendation.

How does it differ from Ehrman's "Lost Christianities"?

It looks like it differs from Ehrman's Lost Scriptures primarily in the fact that the New Testament is included in the corpus of translation (27 books of the NT and 27 noncanonical books).

This book sounds like a load, from what I can glean from the intro blurb.

I just received my copy yesterday. Its about 1200 pages long (or short

).
So far I barely had time to glean over it. Every chapter begins with a introduction which is great.

I received it about a month ago. It is a monumental work. I recommend that every one should read it. It is sure to stir up controversy for years to come.
