The publication and broadcasting of pornography is an immoral, and therefore should also be considered to be an illegal, activity.

To be or not to be? There is that question again.

These activities spawn crime. Ugh!

For "broadcast" see also: sow. As ye sow, etc.

Never mind the "literature" what about conscience?

Ever heard of, "Crimes of conscience."?

Anything troubling you?

Three non sequiturs in a row with one of them apparently edited.

Must be some sort of record.

Nevertheless, with the demand to move away from the texts we can conclude that the "ten commandments" are, indeed, unconstitution since the individual did not defend otherwise.

Next. . . .

Logic dictates that there can be only One.

Faith, not logic, directs the composer of such a belief. That may account for the seeming discordance.

Note: The Fourth is Wise already. He says nothing. The Hallmark of true Wisdom.

Wisdom "begins" with knowing how much one does not know.

What happened before the 10 Commandments? People lived in peace and respected each other I suppose? Does it look like it, even today?

One can beat people up and completely follow the 10C's, because the 10C"s do not forbid that act.

Furthermore, there is a lot of murder and theft praised in the Bible -- consider what happened to those already living in Canaan.

What the hell have you idle bastards been doing these last 2004 years, having a good time?

I have been alive for only 2% of that time.

Christ did not have a religion.

So he was essentially an atheist?

He could see then that you are a clueless bunch of apes who could not organise social order if you had another 2000 years with your evil double-dealing and your pornographic priests and their hole worship.

What "double-dealing"? And which "pornographic priests" and "hole worship"?

Fill the bloody hole with water and STOP wasting my time you ruddy dunce.

As in "bloody"?

"Thou shalt not kill" is this too difficult for your feeble brain to understand?

However, I've never heard of anyone getting excommunicated for murder.

Also, prohibition of murder is far from specific to the Bible -- and various violations are treated as a Good Thing in the Bible. Consider the Canaanite genocide described in the early books of the Bible.

What is all of this pornograhpy doing here?

Where?

How come half the population is queer?

???

What is the sexual abuse about?

???

What is this drivel about poor man's holiness?

???

What are "priests" doing blessing brothels?

Like who? Point to at least one incidence.

Why is the crime rate so high?

Yawn. Compare criminality rates with previous centuries.

Logic dictates that there can be only One.

Two beings cannot be Supreme God at the same time.

However, there need not be a "supreme god"

The God we normally refer to is known as Almighty God but is known by a variety of names by different people.

Except that they say very different things about this alleged being -- without getting struck by lightning. The Egyptian Ptah, for example, was one of several deities worshipped.

(a lot of babbling snipped for brevity...)

The publication and broadcasting of pornography is an immoral, and therefore should also be considered to be an illegal, activity.

Why?

Right, well I'm bored, and am going to pass the time by replying to your posts:

I, for one, have been having a very good time. Of course, only for the few years I've been around, but still.

Quote:
Christ did not have a religion.
Then I guess you could say that we're following in his footsteps.

Quote:
A plethora of churches for one God and ALL of them utterly useless. On their ruddy knees praying ... for what the second coming, before they do anything about improving the amenity of the planet, regulating the numbers of children being born
I guess we're in agreement there.

Quote:
stop dealing in child sacrifice, stop killing the first born,
Ooookay, what scary-ass church did you go to?

Quote:

Entertaining people. It's doing a mighty good job too.

Quote:
How come half the population is queer?
Because it isn't. Only about ten percent of the population is homosexual.

Quote:
What are "priests" doing blessing brothels?
Next time I see a priest blessing one, I'll ask him.

Quote:
What is anyone paying YOU for?
Doing my job?

Quote:
In all of this time I can find only one "failing", "jealousy". He is "jealous" or eager to have your love for Him and your love for each other, for His sake, and to please Him.
I thought the bible said he was perfect...

Quote:
Not a failing at all really, just normal, like all Fathers everywhere.
My dad was never jealous of me.

Quote:
What is this inversion of the "Wisdom of Solomon" and this misconstruction of divide and rule?
I dunno.

Quote:
Originally, King Solomon is said to have been presented with a case where two women both claimed that a certain baby belonged to each of them.

As they both stood by their claim, one crying, smiling craftily, King Solomon declared that He would cut the child in two and give each of the women one half as there was no other way of deciding.

Immediately one woman cried out No, No, give that woman the child, whereupon King Solomon said, "In that case you MUST be the real Mother, for only you are concerned that the child should live." and gave the child to its rightful mother. The false mother was thus revealed.
OOOKay then.

That is all, the boredom has passed. (For now)
