placebo messiah: please don't use such a misleading title... some people might not want to see the contents of this thread and follow that link with the wrong perception.

thanks,

I don't see what the fuss is about...its just a snake eating a kangaroo.

And yet, I don't see why he posted it to begin with.

are we supposed to discuss this?

I wonder why there are no predators that specialize in eating snakes that are busy eating something else. I bet its pretty vulnerable while its doing that.

How did it manage to catch the kangaroo in the first place?

What's wrong with posting something merely because it's interesting?

One half of my brain is telling me this...
"Well, using my expansive knowledge of foiliage-kangaroo size comparison (and by expansive I mean none) and my vast intellectual database about kangaroo's in general (and by vast I mean I read a National Geographic once) I'd say the roo is probably a few feet tall at the most. "

And the other half of my brain is just sitting there going "Cooooool!"

I won't repeat it, because frankly, it's not worth repeating. And I don't say that to be mean.

That's not a kangaroo, it's a fucking wallaby. It's probably a foot and a half tall maximum, ie. large rabbit size.

Well. Someone was hungry.

They were really interesting pictures though - thanks for sharing. Yet again I am glad that NZ is snakeless - imaging running across something like that when camping! And yes - I know it would probably slither off, and would be more frightened of me than I am of it etc etc. Makes no difference, I'm afraid.
