I know this has been done many times before.
However,I think this may be new.
I got banned from christianforum.com for trolling,I have only posted four times .
My last post was in news&current affairs.
The thread was about the price of gas(petrol).Everyone was whinning about the price.So my reply was:" I do not mean to be rude,but you all need to get a clue.
Our culture was built on cheap& easy oil.You need to get use to it or your way of live will crash."
I do not get it.

As a long-time CF poster, I can tell you that many of the mods at CF are not known for their tolerance or open-mindedness.

shannonkis referred you to the CF discussion thread on ~~Elsewhere~~. Come on in and join us. Trust me -- you're not alone.

ANd, I'd do it again... it was just too violent for CF.

I've always gotten the impression that new members are given a lot less leeway when it comes to trolling. Not saying that you were trolling, but emergency bans are far more forthcoming when it's a new member involved. :shrug:

Becasue protocol frowns on the emergency banning of anyone over 100 posts

Not saying ti never happens, but it's extremely rare, and someone high up the food chain usually has to OK it.
