If some higher power came forth to exist, and God had no hand in its coming into existence in the supernatural side of the universe, what all do you think God would do to it? Would God be a Father figure to it to raise the higher power? Would God make friends or enemies with that higher power off the bat? Would God respect the higher power even though I hear God is not a respecter of persons? If the higher power is more powerful than God would God try to surpress that higher power into having to submit to God's rules since God was here originally? Would that higher power's being automatically change the whole definition to God? How so?

Answer to OP: If we're still talking about the all-knowing, all-power God here, then a "higher" being than that is in every way impossible. If we're not, if you want a discussion, define your terms.

Sign, I think you're only going to find serious answers (or any answers at all) from the theists on here... and I'd venture to guess those are hardly going to be satisfactory.

You may as well invent your own imaginary friend (i.e. God) and decide for yourself what He'd do.
