But are they messengers? I suppose evangelia has something to do with angels as well? (Hint: evangelia means "good news"; the word/sound "ev" in Greek means "good", so...)

Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. 21Pay careful attention to him and obey his voice;(Y) do not rebel against him,(Z) for he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him.

The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.[a]
2It is written in Isaiah the prophet:
"I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way"[b]—
3"a voice of one calling in the desert,
'Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.' "[c] 4And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 5The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. 6John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. 7And this was his message: "After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. 8I baptize you with[d] water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

Hmmm

Now, if the messenger was an angel, then Jesus may have been baptized in heaven.

And the Holy spirit then becomes the super magic dust of the top angel, who was so powerful that he was born of a woman and the Holy Spirit, much like the nephilim.

And all relating back to breath - I am the way, the truth and the life!

It does.

2καθως γεγραπται εν τω ησαια τω προφητη ιδου αποστελλω τον αγγελον μου (I send my angel/messenger; my rough translation) προ προσωπου σου ος κατασκευασει την οδον σου

"Angels" are really just divinely appointed messengers.

Note the verb here - it's where we get "apostle" from (αποστελλω::apostellw).

Edit: In Mark 1:16 he uses "angels" in your more modern sense of "angels".

No. The word used in Mk 1:1 -- which, if you'd ever do the slightest bit of digging around in a commentary or two, or even consulted the cross reference apparatus at the bottom of a decent translation of Mark, is a combination of of Malachi 3:1; Isaiah 40:3; Exodus 23:20 -- means "messenger".
