Default Must a possible creator by necessity always tell the truth?

More specifically, if you are a Christian, why can't God be an evil God who is masquerading as a good God?

What's the over/under on the number of times you have started a thread on this topic?

I do not recall that you have ever replied to one of my threads on this topic. Have you? Do you wish to engage in useless rhetoric, or would you like to answer my question?

All I can say is that life's overall apparently good enough that we generally consider suicide prima facie evidence of insanity, and given this, I would be inclined to guess that something which would bring this about would be overall good in some meaningful sense.

Obviously, it's impossible to know anything on the topic for sure; all you can do is do your best.

How many threads might that be? 20? 50? More?

False dichotomy, but thanks for asking.

Message to RPS: Would you like to answer my question or not? If so, then please answer it. If not, why do you wish to keep making posts in this thread?

Why do you wish to keep starting the same post over and over and over and over and over...?

I am trying to get some answers to my questions. Do you have any answers, or do you have nothing better to do with your time than engage in idle rhetoric? How about a moderated debate on the nature of God? That should be fun, at least for me.

RPS's question sounds legit to me. Why don’t you just say something in your other thread to bump it back up if you feel it absolutely needs more responses rather than making a whole other thread?

And, as to the thread topic, I was always under the impression God naturally defines himself into goodness within the Christian framework. Therefore, he could theoretically start blowing things up left and right and he would still be the definition of good.

God, being God can do whatever the fuck He wants to and designate it as good, bad or indifferent. He who has the most gold makes all the rules.
