				 | Searchable database of all Latin inscriptions online

I have today discovered that there is a searchable database of all Latin inscriptions online. It is here: http://www.manfredclauss.de/gb/index.html Daftly, it is case-sensitive (try christo and Christo and see the differences). Try: http://compute-in.ku-eichstaett.de:8...pigraphikkl_en with Search text 1 = Mithrae, and hit enter. You get a list of publication stuff, but if you page down, you then get the inscriptions (in Latin). Lots and lots of Deo Invicto Mithrae (to the unconquered god Mithras). All the best, Roger Pearse |

Glad to help! Actually a resource like that must be an absolute godsend. Finding out the epigraphy for anything has always been a nightmare; now it's just a click or two.
