Well, and this is pure speculation, I'd imagine that same sex kisses would get the following reactions. Yes, they're extremely generalized, but bear with me.

Female-Female Kiss

Straight Men: Woo hoo!

Women & Gay Men: Ho-hum.

Lesbians: Those aren't real lesbians.

Male-Male Kiss

Women & Gay Men: Woo hoo!

Men: Oh, SICK! That's NASTY! I need to change the channel something totally un-homoerotic, like football!

Of course, since the 18-to-34 year old male demographic is one of the most highly sought after in the ratings world, they're probably not going to alienate all those insecure guys by showing hot men kissing on prime time television. Goddammit.

Plus, I just don't think it's as weird, or as unacceptable, for men to admit they like watching lesbians as it is for women to admit they like watching two guys go at it.

I enjoy seeing two women kiss, yes.

As long as they're not doing it to appeal to men. That's just rubbish.

Of course, I would prefer it if a pretty woman was kissing me.

I am slightly perturbed by Monkeybot putting "women" and "lesbians" in a seperate catergory, regarding their reactions to girls kissing. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but even so. I only want to be a seperate species if I get to be a super-mutant into the bargain

I don't enjoy in any sexual way (unnattractive people just don't do it for me for some reason), but it might have some appeal on a purely aesthetic level or simply as a novelty.
