This is big-sky country here with no sanatoriums to be found. But if it helps you any, I am not exactly a bronc rider but you can't read a book riding saddleback either.

There are over half a dozen other 'death' references in the collection above.

Yes, but except that here death is the precondition to gain immortality and that is not by proxy but to our own temporal illusion of life that held only and all our our sins, and these include our good works as well.
