Would Joe say something false if he knew it was false and would get him killed? Probably not.
Would Joe say something false if he was convinced it was true, even though it might get him killed? maybe. Would Steve say that Joe died for something false, thereby making it seem as though that thing is true by Joe's commitment to it unto death if it got Steve power? Absolutely. |
