Doing ok I guess. I guess I am just burnt out on forums altogether. Honestly, I have more and more thoughts about leaving CF staff. However, I'd look like a jerk for leaving my team in the position it is in right now. I've been there two years, and it feels like you force yourself to go through the motions sometimes. I believe I am still fair, but that's besides the point.

Things in RL are still difficult. Still haven't found a job nor an internship. The economy is horrible here.

But today was a good day.

Sorry for the long answer. I don't mean to be a downer tonight.

No problem foxfan.

Sometimes we just need to vent & that is ok.

I feel for you.

I've moderated at a few places & it does get to be a burden at times. I'm very happy to just be a plain ol poster these days.

Agreed, the 18 inches line is old. I see that she had lack of thought, but that doesn't equal being offensive. Hopefully, she can engage in more detailed dialogue. But then again, you get your loonies and "knee-jerkers" every now and again. I had up with the same crap from A2J in the men's corner. As Molly Shannon would say, "Don't get me started, don't even get me started".

I know I'm feeling all PMS-ie but I really find that dreamy weird photo avatar with that sig under it in her profile very icky creepy feeling.

My best attempt at turning it around is saying 'I think all children have a sense they are being lied to about God. It is only when you get older that you no longer think you are intelligent and decide you should accept the answers you were told. People avoid rational thought by the distance from their head to their heart - 18 inches.'

It was going to be my reply. But I found it too ugly to post, so I just wrote how I was offended.

Well I know it was probably not meant to be offensive but it was IMO. Which shows lack of thoughtfulness then top it of with an old fundie pastor's line & it tends to raise the hackles. Then the photo weirdness... LOL!

Ignore me.

My mones man, my mones.

Wingy!
 and *hugs*
How the reports going?

and *hugs* foxfan.
Why not take a bit of time off before you implode? Better for CF that you manage to stay there for the long haul than you totally wreck yourself over the next couple of weeks and then disappear...
