It's about not letting the people your god doesn't like do it.

And for the record (since I was asked this question privately) my atheistic viewpoint and my sexuality came about completely independently of each other. One has nothing at all to do with the other. There are plenty of churches that don't care who i snog if i were inclined to being muddle-brained again and if I suddenly stopped finding men attractive I wouldn't necessarily find religion believable.

The problem is, ultimately, that what's wrong at CF is human nature, not religion, and that people who are influenced by it to leave the religion may well embrace the very aspects of human nature that caused the problem. One reaction to the cavelier dismissal of other humans by Christians is to dismiss Christians just as cavelierly.

Oh, I wasn't talking about attitudes seebs (i'm guessing that's what you inferred from what I wrote). I'm talking about the actual apologetics and the fact that each christian sect can easily disprove the beliefs of the other christian sects such that they all do a bang up job of disproving the whole lot

Raven, is it just me, or are a lot of people rather eager to kick us out this weekend?

btw, just a little thing I came across today and wanted to share. It may fall flat and stupid but it's something that interested me enough to start my first upper forum thread so check it out:

All they have to do is say the word I remember when Uber (i think it was) started the thread to see if they wanted all the homos gone. I'd be willing to bet that one regarding non-christians period would overwhelmingly show that they'd like us all to leave.
