Thank you, and apologies accepted Vork. No rum necessary. I also hope you will accept my apologies for strong language here and there over the years. It just shows that we are all quite human and passionate in our beliefs. We may often disagree, but your questions over the years have made me think deeply about my own beliefs. I wish you and your family the best. And even if you don't believe in them, I will remember you (in a good manner, of course ) in my prayers.

Mine doesn't. It simply says "there are the teachings of Jesus" as its first lne.

The kindness and restraint of your pointing out my egregious error led me to rapidly revise my opinion of you (based on insufficient acquaintance, I not having been on these boards very long). And now you're apparently going away! Well, don't be gone long.

I am an addict, and I have developed the personality of an addict: mean, angry, narrow, one-track, and perpetually controlled. This has snuck up on me, for no other experience has ever acquired this level of power over me -- not alcohol, not drugs, not risky sports, or any other kind of thrill or stimulant.

I have been in denial. I have hurt people. I suck. I need to stop.

I appreciate all the many kindnesses and friendly gestures over the years, and the many friendships I have built up, the acquaintances I have made, and the learning I have acquired. I will miss everyone, but especially Toto, Jacob, Richard, Amaleq, Chris, Julian, spin, EverlastingGodstopper, Pervy, Joe Wallack, ApostateAbe, Loren Pechtel, Don Morgan, Iasion, PhiliosopherJay, NeilGodfrey, and other posters too numerous to mention, some no longer here. To those I have attacked and offended, Haran, Chris, Bede, and many others too numerous to mention, I offer apologies, belated and insufficient, though they may be.

Although I mostly lurked in the catergories in which you mostly posted, I too will miss your point of view and insights.
