This Pharoah did not survive, being buried at the bottom of the Red Sea. Given the chaos that must have ensued following his death, is it little wonder that detailed records did not survive? In fact, the Exodus overturned the Middle Kingdom and brought a period of desolation.
I found this little nugget on another thread and I have done a google search on resources outside of creationists circles without much success.

I suppose I wondering who is this guy really and do his theories hold any merrit? I mean I hesitate on dismissing his ideas just because the guy is a creationist so that's why I ask. I simply am not well versed enough egypt to know for certain if this idea holds water. Unfortunately since I am at work atm I can't exactly freely visit the site so my info is limited to this quote

1 creationist v.s. modern historical understanding? call me biased, but I would assume he's wrong.

And what exactly is a "christian archaeologist"?
