Someone up above said the Bible is nothing special.

And being widely distributed says no more about the Bible than it does about the Koran or the Bhagavad-Gita or whatever. Does being widely distributed mean that the Koran is the Absolute Truth?

hezekiahjones, I've seen your posts and thought you knew better than this.
The best MSS do not have the verses in Mark that you mentioned. They end at Mark 16:8. As a matter of fact the verses beyond Mark 16:8 seem to be strongly non-Markan (see Bruce Metzger's Textual Commentary on the GNT). Ish |
