Lewis is the dude who came up with that "meathead, moron, or malefactor" (and I might add "or myth") fallacy, taken to such effective lengths by Josh McDowell. If C.S. was such a tremendous apologist, how come chrispians are still apologizing? P.S. I hope you don't drive a Tercel; they're death traps. Hit anything bigger than a Corolla, and you're squashed like a bug. |

First of all, forgive my leaving off the "CS" from Lewis. My friends and I talk about him quite often, so I often forget that others may not know who he is. I apologize.
For the most comprehensive treatise in the Bible pertaining to the resurrection, see 1 Corinthians 15, particularly verses 40 through the end. It is in this passage that the argument is presented for the imperishable and immortal bodies which we shall obtain in heaven. Peace. pfypher |

Human means earthly because the prefix -hu indicates this (-hu is from -humi is earthly). The addition of the prefix -hu reduced man from heavenly to earthly (if you allow me to posite heaven opposite to earth), and thus all humans are earthly beings from which follows that the redemption of man would be equal to the deletion of of the prefix -hu when humanity is annihilated (crucified). Our human-ity is a "condition of being" that pertains to "the being" (much like "red hair" and personal-ity." Amos [This message has been edited by Amos123 (edited June 26, 2001).] |
