Jasin, there's no such Hebrew word as rwa. It's not even a legal phonetic sequence in Hebrew (a word must conform to the rule of three or four radical consonant in a Semitic language; as for the semivowel w here, it's not a legal Hebrew sequence, because Hebrew always shifts w to y in word-initial and word-medial position unless it is geminate). The Hebrew word is or and no other form, from the root ALEPH-WAW-RESH. Quote:
KJV, great! You want me to use one of the sloppiest translations of the Bible to English there are out there. The KJV has lots of translation errors, starting from page 1. I don't need any lexicon, I read the Hebrew original together with a Bible encyclopaedia authored by a team of renowned secular Bible scholars. To put it plainly, if we were to rule out ignorance in this forum, you would necessarily be excluded. Your belligerence and rudeness would be a confounding factor. If you are a Christian, then you are not demonstrating the kind of humility that should be typical. Quote:

I hate to take this off topic, but that gave me a really good chuckle. Had you paid attention in grade school, you probably would have said it this way: "Now if you don't know how that's possible then you should have paid attention in grade school." --Don-- |

The king James most certianly isn't the most accurate translastion of Gods word. I wouldn't disagree but thats straying from the topic so let's move on.
Gen 1:4 is what where talking about and the word "light" is the word where defining and translating. The word "light" in Gen 1:4 exist in the NIV,NAS,YLT,WEB,RSV,ECt.. so to imply that I'm in error becuase I take that word (light) out of the King James is just nonsense. It's nonsense becuase the word exist in most every translastion that exist. I quote a lexicon to accurately translate the word "light" and to show it's proper meaning not to misslead unlike some. All I have to say to the comment that "Rwa" doesn't exist in the hebrew is this .. RWA Is an ETHIOPIC SYLLABLE Heres what rwa looks like in the hebrew http://www.abyssiniacybergateway.net...w/gifs/rWa.gif http://www.abyssiniacybergateway.net.../gifs/rWa2.gif http://www.abyssiniacybergateway.net...ifs/re-rWa.gif What I have to say about your shemesh is this that is not the hebrew word for "light" no hebrew lexicon that exist renders "light" in the english as shemesh {sheh'-mesh} in the hebrew. That is a lie from the father of lies. Take a Look: http://www.biblestudytools.net/Lexicons/Hebrew/ www.biblestudytools.net/Lexicons/ www.eliyah.com/lexicon.htmwww.studylight.org/lex/heb unbound.biola.edu/strongs/index.cfm?fuseaction=search&lang=English As to the sience being invalid because it's never been detected I have this to say. Just because somethin hasn't been detected doesn't make it non-existant! If it did then how would we explain everything what exist now that was never detected at one time? What was the detected before it was detected? The science I gave is are examples of sources of light that are other then the sun. It in no way implies or is saying those are the sources of light in Gen 1:4. To say heavenly bodies and the earth it's self never existed before Gen 1:4 would be inaccurate! And this is why! Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. There is no contridiction there and that is clear it has been shown. The contridiction is in your understanding of whats there. Go take a class in theology. |
