It doesn't appear to have much to do with Biblica Criticism. |

Clarification please, rodahi. Are you saying that it is not permitted for one member to criticize another's use of authority? Or only that a thread devoted to that subject is not appropriate as such on the Biblical Criticism & Archaeology forum?

Specifically, there is a problem when persons post topics in this forum that have nothing to do with Biblical Criticism & Archaeology. For example, that is why I moved the "Jubal H owes me an apology" thread to another forum. The removal of that thread and "Jubal H still owes me an apology" had NOTHING to do with the content, per se. It is just that neither was appropriate in the BC&A forum. I hope this helps. rodahi |

Thank you, rodahi. That answers my question both completely and satisfactorily.
And do please bear in mind that it was Meta who refused to accept the ruling that the first thread was not appropriate to this forum. Frankly, I thought I understood the rationale all along. Pleased to see I was right. |

Layman, the Private Forum is definitely not open to theists. I wouldn't worry, though. There's not much going on there except the odd moderator recruitment and behind-the-scenes grousing about tireless apologists.
