Wouldn't the hyksos invasion, who appear in the OT as the Philistines, be the oldest OT event verifiable independently?

If the Hyksos are the same as the Philistines, then that would put the oldest event verifiable independantly at around 1650 BC, which was when the Hyksos began ruling as pharaohs in the 15th Dynasty (that's the Second Intermediate Period, between the Middle and New Kingdoms for a rough guide).
