Post Adam lies to God and gets a free pass!

that this was a lie. If Adam were present, then there is no difference in his picking the fruit or her handing him the fruit. He made his choice to eat, dispite the way he received the fruit.

Yet God believed this lie and accused Eve of this deed, God did not call Adam at all on this lie at all. In fact, God reads into it (in verse 17) that Eve talked him into it, when that defense was never even mentioned by Adam or Eve.

The Writer must have been having a bad day at the office to screw things up this much.

Where in the hell do you get the idea that God believed Adam? The text is quite clear that Adam is trying to pass the buck, first to Eve and than to God; "The woman, The one YOU GAVE ME, gave it to me and I did eat."

But God doesnt' guy it, why do you think that Adam has to till the ground and get's tossed out of the garden?

What looks like a curse on woman 3:16 is not a cuse but a warning. The passage says "your desire will be to your husband and he will rule over you."

Many fundies interprit this as saying that God is putting all women under the authority of men for the deeps of Eve. But the term "will" means that something will happen. If God was impossing a punishment he would say "shall" "you shall" is imperative, you shall do this. You will do it means "this will happen," not "Im imposing this on you." And the Hebrew trasnlated desire is "techeuca" which really means "turning." When it is used in the rest of the OT is used in contexts that do not mean sexual desire, but "truning" or other things. So God is really saying "You are turning to your husband to turst him and not me, and as a result of that you are going to be yourself in trouble and all women will suffer because of it." That's the content of the warning.

this was uncovered by Suffregette scholar Catherine Bushnell in the 20s, who studied Semetic languages at Northwestern University. It is not widely accepted, but has been endoursed by some good scholars, espeicially since the rise of femeinist theology. Bushnell often shows up on the bibliographies of feminist thoelogians such as Rosemary Radford Ruther, and Elisebeth Feiorensa.

Because God ADMITTED he believed him in verse 3:17 ...Because thou hast harkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree...

I never argued that Adam didn't try to pass the Buck, he did, my argument said Adam Lied and God Believed the Lie!

My King James Version uses "shall" in place of your "will". But dismissing yet another mistake in the writing and translation which of course God would never allow.
To Greatly increase sorrow and sorrow with conception is a punishment. Including forcing her to “turn” to her husband instead of God. Taking away rights because of bad behavior is a Punishment. Causing sorrow to befall a person because of their bad behavior is a punishment or at least a curse (another favorite tool of an all loving God).
