If I broke into a young girls home one night, tooks some of my sperm and pushed it inside her so that she became pregnant. I sure as hell wouldn't publish it in a book, much less take the credit for it. I would be thrown in jail, the girl's father and fiancee would want to kill me, and the entire nation would say it was 100% wrong to do such a thing. Yet we are suppose to believe it's OK for a spirit to do it.

If the girl then gave birth to the little bastard, he most likley would have at LEAST two personalities (natures)... fucked up and really fucked up.... might even think he's God!

I don't really know, "critical", are you sure she had a fiancee?

In my example Jesus was a spiritual being, you know, like one you can't see but has changed your lifestyle from within? Do you not recognize this as a requirement if we are to be followers of Jesus?

Amos

Ps I see your problem now. In my view Joseph got pregant with dispair and "woman" personified as Mary gave birth to the son of man identity here called Jesus. No semen stuffing required here because the entire event was metaphysical.

So your saying that a 12 step program that brings changes from within would equate to the spiritual Jesus. So you could also claim anything that changed ones behavior pattern, belief pattern, or emotional balance, could be Jesus at work.... Did I get that right?

Not at all, that would be the worst thing you could do because if anything it will rob you off eternal life. You mean the 12 steop program don't you? such as in AA perhaps?

No it would have to be the genuine Catholic way which is the mysterious form of sola fide.

Amos
