STI. Cool, Sitchin also got me started on reading the real stuff! I've read most of those other guys too, I liked The book on dragon mythology, also Laurence Gardners books on the grail kings is good for more Sitchinesque fun. I'm glad Sitchin brought these old stories to the public, but it saddens me a bit when I read his webpage and see letters from youngsters who think he is a true scholar, speculation is fun but real archaeology is hard work, I really dislike the way he often blows off real research that took years to do. On the other hand I often dislike the rigidity of some mainstream opinion. After all most mythology is based on actual events, though Sitchin does take this to the extreme I'll admit.
Any opinions on the basis of where the Annunaki stories originate?
