Does it count if someone, whether Paul, the Essenes or someone else worked out all (or most of) the theology from a strictly mythicist position and this later got interwoven with the Cynic or seer Jesus, and again none of the rest of the story is true? The scenarios could be multiplied, but you get the point. Historicity isn't a simple yes or no proposition. |
