True. I misread that.

It is remarkable that Joel Watts sent an email when not connected to Gmail, and had a message in his sent folder from the future, a day after this screenshot was allegedly prepared.

It is even more remarkable that he took a screenshot at the time of sending the email.

And even more remarkable considering he was not connected to the Internet.

And , in the email, Watts urges Godfrey to look at what Wordpress has to say, *before making a complaint to Wordpress*.

As Watts explained, when Godfrey didn't reply to this email sent when Watts was not connected, only then did Watts make a complaint to Wordpress.

So how did Watts first email expect Godfrey to look at what Wordpress were saying, when he only complained NINE hours later.

But, of course, this proves nothing.

Watts is as honest as the day is long.

And Wed 26th June was a very long day. It seemed to go on for about 48 hours.

I mean I don't know how Apple products work. Is that time at the top right hand corner usually set to the current time or the time of the email you are looking at?

I think Tom is explaining that Watts has messages in his sent folder from Thu. 27th June when he did a screenshot on Wed 26th June.

Of course, everybody takes screenshots of emails when you send them.

Especially if you are sending them at a time when you are not connected to your mail server.....

As Watts screenshot so clearly shows.

You can have one guess.

If you fail to guess what time the system time is showing, try looking at Watts next screenshot, where the system time has suddenly jumped to June 28.

And where Watts has figured out that his email system works a whole lot better if you are connected to your server.

Again I don't understand this. On my PC the actual time always appears at the bottom right hand corner. Does anyone else see a problem with 12:56 pm on June 26 appearing in the top right hand corner with a sent email from June 27 in the screen. I don't own any of these products.

But it says 'System Preference' in the first screenshot and then 'Outlook' in the next two. As I am unfamiliar with Apple products, would being on the System Preference screen displace the current time with the time of the email in the top right hand corner?

I don't see being disconnected to Gmail as a big issue. Again what do I know. I am more intrigued to find out from a user of Apple products under what circumstances does the time clock at the top right hand corner change away from the current time.

It changes from the current time when you reset the time, so you can fabricate an email.

Best not to be connected to the server. You don't want the fabricated email being sent two days after you were supposed to have sent it.

I can't believe anyone would manufacture something so easily spotted as an alleged fake like this. There must be another explanation.

It looks like Joel is using Outlook installed on his computer, and not the web based form of gmail. He could be connected to the internet but not connected to gmail, and not synced with the web based gmail.

I don't use this configuration, so I don't know what wrinkles that introduces into things. I don't think the email program, whatever it is, would put the message into the sent folder unless it was actually sent (which is not proof that it was received.)

But vridar is back, both on wordpress and vridar.org. Lessons have been learned. Time to move on?
