In away, I suppose it's very democratic in that it causes content to be virtually controlled by the audience, but the problem with that is that the audience is stupid. They will bite on Noah's Ark, or Red Sea chariots or David's beer mug every time. Just to check if it's real this time.

Hell, I check too, not to see if it's real, but to know what I'm going to have to be debunking in the near future to everyone who wants to play "checkmate atheist" with me. They know this kind of thing will get traffic from skeptics too, and traffic is a; they're really after. If they can get people to fight in the comment sections, they'll come back to read replies and keep driving up their click count.
But, in spite of it all, some different items occasionally leak through. I'm not saying those drips are great truths, but they do indicate that some of us are interested in items other than Weiner's junk or the Duchess of Cambridge's baby.

Wait, what? The Duchess of Cambridge had a baby? When did that happen? Why wasn't I informed???

One of my favorite Catholic relics -- a flying house!! To be completely accurate though, it doesn't fly by itself -- it has to be carried by angels.

Religion is [still] regarded by the common [audience] people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers [media channels] as useful.

None of it has been real since it started.

Christian archaeology stated with Mother Helena.

Will she (post humorously) receive the Nobel Prize in Archaeology?
