We (being Carolina) came so close to beating Duke... and we're still only trailing by 8... but dammit, there's only 6 seconds to go.

I don't usually get into basketball, but this sucks. Carolina's gotten really nervous in the last 10 min. or so and it shows -- they're taking such sloppy shots.

If only they had instated George Carlin's rule of 25 points if you bounce your shot off the head of another player, then you might have a chance

There were a couple of lousy calls in that game by the refs. I don't want to be a sore loser who blames the officiating for everything, but it might have made a difference. Oh well. I think there is a good chance Carolina will win the next game at home.

Ever since Dean Smith left, has anyone given a shit about Duke/North Carolina?

ACC Basketball is so overrated it's a joke. Look at the Big 12 and the # of top 25 teams:

#3 Texas
#7 Oklahoma
#11 Oklahoma State
#12 Kansas
#22 Missouri

Not to mention Texas Tech

Someone once said that to make basketball more interesting, just set the score to 80-80 and let them play for 3 minutes. I have to agree with this, though it might be leftover angst from constantly being asked to play basketball in high school.

We had 'em for most of the game, with McCants and May 100% I think we'd have won by 10+.

I just take Noel's totally uncalled for and downright rude SMASH in Casey Sander's face as some consolation.

The Duke game prempted the tv show Angel in my tv viewing area, so I rooted for Carolina. I'm sorry you didn't crush those soulless bastards
