Historical accuracy holds the key to power. Why? Because if the accuracy (or nearest proximity attainable) is ascertained, this dispells myths purported onto people, for certain agendas. This is most evident within the religious field. I'd like to know what you've found to be the most scholarly and sound account for the timeline of history and world events.

These are two that I have:

Questions:

1) Were these links helpful to anyone who may have wanted links to websites like these?

2) Pro/cons of these versions of history

3) Do you have any qualms with these accounts? ( theists and non-theists, alike)

4) Can you articulate your qualms for me, and provide, to the best of your knowledge, to be more reputable or accurate sources? (BTW could you provide sources whether or not you have material issues with these links or not?)


Attn moderators: I am placing this same thread over in E/C for discussion as well for their expertise in science. I would hope that you guys don't move it from here, as I feel the feedback from this particular forum will casually tie in for future discussion regarding the Bible's account of history and the conflicts it causes with conventional scholarship in the field of archaeology.

I have found this Church History Timeline to be helpful, although it doesn't attempt to cover all of world history!
