I don't know about this. How much oil do those countries have?
As soon as a good electricity powered car comes about, the US will want Australia's Uranium (We're one of the top exporters of that, aren't we?)

I don't understand why Bush doesn't just take his shirt off, do that Mr. Universe pose, and yell "ALL YOUR REGIMES ARE BELONG TO US!" like you know he wants to.

*sigh*

And people wonder why I'm not enamored with this country.
Well, let me be the first to say that I'm not one of those people

Though seriously, did Bush go into office PRAYING for a war? (Look at how he dealt with China, as an example)

This is degenerating into a Political Discussion. I may move it into a more appropriate group if we can't clean it up a little.

Gosh, you guys are so funny, and so sure of yourselves. How old are all you guys anyway? Let me guess--under 35? I wonder how sassy you will all be at 75 and staring oblivion (you hope) in the face.
Does anyone really want to critique Intelligent Design for me or are you just a bunch of hotheads?

Ok give us something to critique.

Or you could do yourself a favor, and actually search the evolution/creation forum (just click on "search" and type in design, or behe, or whatever). You will read very detailed critiques of intelligent design theory, written by people who range from high school education to professors in college.

You say we are immature, but I have yet to read anything substantial coming from you.

Can't you all just feel the Christian (I'm assuming) LOVE in the room?

Sheesh, I mean I know atheists and agnostics and non-christians (or to the baptist board - non-baptists) are all immoral and stuff, but man, I don't go around subtly threatening people with death and hell every day!

And this is why humans invented all of this religion/creationism/voodoo nonsense in the first place. There are far too many weak people who cannot handle the idea of death.

This is not a reasonable argument. You are presumably alive, and are no more an authority on what it would be like to be dying than we are. There is also much more to being knowledgeable than just being old. If that were all it took, we'd just find some geezer older than you who could tell you to sit down and shut up.

This is your first contribution to this thread, and it sounds rather hotheaded in itself. Isn't it a little premature to be complaining that no one has answered your questions? Why don't you try asking something specific.

Oh, that thing. Cripes, I remember when we thought that was as bad as it could possibly get. Wasn't that just a year and a half ago?
