Maybe, but the ability to catch what could be interpreted as a personal insult (on a very touchy subject) which could lead to a flame war is; as is the ability to prevent that from happening.

Circumcision reportedly reduces the man's pleasure by lessening sensitivity of the glans

I know that this is a serious problem, since all my male friends complain that sex just doesn't feel good enough.

As a male circumcized at age 30, I can vouch for the difference in sensation. It is very real.

Also on the downside, I no longer have a convenient place to stick a cigarette to get a cheap laugh.

On the upside, if you get to keep your skin after they remove it, you can add it to a batch of fried calamari and nobody will know the difference.

*scratches head* Well, I guess what I sacrifice in pleasure I gain back in endurance.

Oh well... so he did take it as a big joke after all... my attempt at thwarting a flame war was futile, unnessisary, and almost backfired... but HEY! Irony is a form of humor, right? SCORE!

From what I've read, that is a misconception.

"The foreskin is filled with nerve endings called stretch receptors. These nerve endings fire when they are stretched, rolled, or massaged. The only purpose of these nerve endings is to make sex more enjoyable. The stretch receptors are unlike the nerve endings in the head of the penis which are very sensitive to friction but can be so sensitive that the sensation can be irritating or painful. The nerve endings in the head of the penis tend to trigger orgasm much more than the nerve endings in the foreskin."

That is from the male anatomy website I posted earlier... http://net.indra.com/~shredder/intact/anatomy/index.html

Also, intact men tend to have less trouble with causing women discomfort during prolonged sex. It's nice when both partners have lubrication.

Well, the glans dries out toughens, so it isn't hard to see how sensation could be decreased. I know from experience that I would be extremely uncomfortable without a foreskin, so the simple fact that circumsized individuals aren't bothered indicates a decrease in sensitivity. Sadly for the cut, it is not at all clear that this decrease in sensitivity increases sexual endurance.

Now, humour... hmmmm.... Well, sadly for the cut, without a forskin one is deprived of a vital piece of apparatus for penis puppetry and has to make do with artificial turtlenecks.

A sore vagina does not contribute anything to the pleasure derived from intercourse. Extremely obvious, and it doesn't need to be confirmed by alleged clinical studies.

Nothing about your "alleged" vagina is "extremely obvious," but a posted JPG of it would make it more so.
