My mother-in-law has this on a refrigerator magnet.

Pretty well sums up xian "thinking" though.

I've always hated that one that goes something like, "God never gives us more than we can handle." Usually it's said to someone that has had something really awful happen to them, and you just want to punch out the idiot that says it.

Should I make some ugly wall hangings that say "..as for me and my house, we will love and help each other", or to be a smart ass "...as for me and my house, we will serve no wine before it's time"
