Be glad you're not from Florida, Nial. I'd come beat you.

Although as a team they would probably fit Darwin's Terrier's list of suboptimal design (suboptimal team?) very well.

I voted evolution mostly because I have always liked the notion of humans with tails.

Well, now, you're in the majority among Christians worldwide and even inside the USA.

Rufus was of course wrong in posing the question; it is a false dichotomy, and I wonder if by concentrating on the Creationists then atheists are simply doing themselves a huge disservice - shotting themselves in the foot because it's such an easy target.
*sigh*

Just call me a heavily-empiricist atheist.

Note to Gurdur: It's a joke poll.

No! You mean that isn't how you spell "evolutionist"?

By the way, what is the difference between a "heavily-empiricist atheist" and the other kinds? Do the others come by their opinions by divine revelation or something?

I agree with you Gurdur. Which is why I disagree with Principia and some others here and think that it is a GOOD idea to openly debate evolution against creationism, preferably in a written online debate.

While science has come to its conclusion and it ain't changin', there are a whole buch of people who just aren't aware of how good the evidence FOR evolution is.

I was one of those people up until a couple of years ago.
