Take two entangled particles. By this we mean that the properties of the two together are known but of either one is not well known. They are separated by some distance.

Perform an experiment using one of these particles to react with the thing you want to teleport. This destroys both the particle and the thing to be teleported but yields a result. Something like an interference experiment, perhaps.

Take this result and figure out what you have to apply to the second particle to make an exact copy of the thing to be teleported.

You have to destroy the target to get the result yuo use to create the 'duplicate'.

Sorry, just a bit confused, what do interference patterns got to do with the destruction of the particle and the thing? Are you trying to say that the thing and particle are 'combined' to form a interference pattern?

Yes. In the experiment I believe the entangled particles and the teleport targets are both light beams.

From my understanding of the world of quanta, "teleportation" can only occur within a simultaneous field. The thing can be here, there, and anywhere, once the field is constructed, but only within the field. If you measure the thing anywhere in the field, you will find it...

Boost me up Scotchie.
