Well, where did it come from?

Some theories suggest the big bang, and that would have to come from a singularity of some sort, this would be considered the universe creating itself somehow, there has to be some kind of first cause.

Always been here. In one form or another.

The Big Bang theory describes the evolution of the "early" universe. We don't have any idea what the universe was like before the inflationary phase, but that doesn't mean it wasn't here.

Well then how did it get here? And how could it always exist?

Oh I see because we know the universe exists we can assume that it's possible that it has always existed.

But an Eternal God isn't too much more far fetched.

The possibilities are endless JoBar, Occams Razor cannot be an option in this case. The most likely explaination isn't always the right one.

Except that there's a lot more evidence for the universe existing than an eternal god.
