I think sooner or later someone will find the landing plaforms that were left behind on the moon and as we know it would of been too much baggage for those Earthings to carry back home with them. Same should apply to aliens.
I think it's fairly obvious that the aliens would have disintegrated any excess materials with their ray guns since any species advanced enough to have mastered interstellar travel would be opposed to littering.

What I've always wondered is why would such an advanced civilization who can travel interstellar distances and arrive on earth without being spotted by all the hundreds of thousands of professional and amateur astronomers in the world have such a fascination with anal probing, mutilating cows, and making silly designs in corn fields?

Douglas Adams explained it best: Adolescent joyrides.

What do you call the Pyramids ?

Dr Zawi Hawass, the main guy in charge at the Great Pyramid, would laugh at this. In fact he has.
They've excavated graves of workers who were building the pyramids. They did not use slaves, it was a cooperative effort, and it was not alien.
These are documented facts now.

It's scientifically highly unlikely any alien race has mastered technology to travel thousands of light years in a small leap, it's almost physically impossible.
Besides, what so-called 'higher' intelligence would waste their time visiting this rock?
