Most fundies I know know what God had for breakfast (fish) and behind which star "he" takes a crap!

We need response billboards, eg.,

Don't make me come down there--God
I thought you already did--human.

If me, then I don't see where I am telling God what to do.

I'm telling other humans their opinions of what God says can be no more than that -- mere opinion. There must necessarily be a veil of doubt between us and whatever god is out there, if there is one. If god is god, we certainly are not, and no one is its spokesperson. Even if someone were, it would be worthless to other humans.

The only two ways out of this are for each and every human being to have the privilege of a direct and perfectly consistent "mind-meld" with God, or to eschew all revelation completely. The deists thought nature itself was the only and final revelation, but of course even here people can draw many incompatible answers...

...so we are irreconcilably, permanently, and unavoidably cut off from any true knowledge of God.
