For me, if God ever show up, I will ask him only one question, 'Are you bored?'
That made me think of another question – why would he ever come down to earth? Would he have the guts to face the millions of raped and tortured (in his name) woman and children? He would be truly a great God if he had the guts to do that.

It would not be we who would be judged and either saved or condemned. It would be he who will have to face the music when he appears one unexpected day before us…

May God have mercy on his own soul.

Greetings:

If some very powerful, extremely intelligent 'being' landed in Times Square and announced that 'he' was 'God', how would we know that it really was 'God': that which 'created' the universe, sacrificed his 'son' to redeem the human race, etc.?

Great power doesn't mean 'all-power', great knowledge doesn't mean 'omniscience'.

Basically, any 'God' which provided evidence isn't 'God' (evidence is finite, physical, natural). At the same time, no rational person needs to believe in a 'God' for which there is no evidence.

And so it goes...

Keith.
