Outrageous claims
This morning while flipping through the radio stations I stopped on the Fundy news. There was a minister giving an editorial about the "embracing of Islam in America post 9-11". He was ranting about how we have gone out of our way to make them feel comfortable and have pushed understanding of the faith on our school children.
The thing that really shocked me was a comment he made about martyrs. He actually said that there have been more Xian martyrs than any other religion. How can anyone determine the actual number of martyrs? How many hundreds of thousands of Muslims died during the crusades? What about all the Jews during the Inquisition and the Holocaust? For this mental midget to suggest that Xians are historically the most persecuted religious followers ever is near criminal! |

Did he mention the extremely high percentage of martyrs that were martyred by the Church itself?
