No, I don't think anyone who cares for other peoples' well-being should stop. I just think religion should be left out of the equation entirely.
I think organizations that help the unfortunate should just help them. Stop preaching mythological stuff at them trying to convert them. Just help them, let them make their own minds up from there.

Emerson - Amen...I mean Hear!Hear! It seems I agree with you totally as far as the good-deeds doing! I am always happy to discover new charities that, while affiliated with religion, completly abandon any mission to convert. I mainly want people to have their basic needs met so they might actually have the time or energy to form a personal belief. Actions speak louder than any words...
