I'm sure that's the case. Unfortunately, chances are incredibly slim that I'd ever be able to go to a DC meetup. I'm sure more will sign up for NoVA in time.

I'm glad to see that the Hampton Roads area has 28. I haven't been to a meetup yet but a few seem to be making the outings.
GO! Do it! I had no idea how refreshing it would be to talk (in person!) to others who have the same ideas!

Larger numbers = greater potential influence (politically and otherwise).

Next one is tomorrow night! Be there!

Shake, I love your enthusiasm! It is indeed refreshing to interact with like minded folk and I do as often as I can -- but until a meetup actually happens a bit closer to home (or we get a 2nd car), it will not be possible for me.

The Northern Virginia meetup is pretty new -- I'm sure there are a few people signed up for the DC or Baltimore meetup that might find NoVA more convienient. I doubt it will be too long before we have enough people. I look forward to that time.
