How can you disagree with something you don't even bother to identify, let alone contemplate. I'm sure previous posts have explained that evolution is not "people coming from monkeys" or from the slightly more educated "people coming from apes".

It's pretty simple.

You know that Spanish and French both came from Latin, right? That's the relationship between humans and monkeys. Latin never really "died", but it ceased to exist as a spoken language as it changed into the ancestors of modern Spanish and French. The fossils are scattered all over Western Europe.

Now, I can see you objecting. "French didn't come from Spanish!" It's a matter of terminology. It happens that Latin, Spanish, and French all have separate names. A better analogy would be to say that English came from Indo-European languages. There are still plenty of other Indo-European langauges around, several hundred according to the Ethnologue, that split off from ancestral stocks at different times in different places. However, none of them are the direct ancestor of the language we use right now.
