Scratch, i mean Beachbum. <img src="graemlins/notworthy.gif" border="0" alt="[Not Worthy]" /> You inspired me to write and i did. However it was not placed on the board. Is it immediate like this board, or does it have to pass the inquisition first? I like what you wrote a great deal, and was somewhat surprised that they posted it. They did not post mine, at least yet and i was fairly benign but firm in what i said. Anyone who is gay, who thinks they can find any peace in their lives by surpressing their own self is far from accurate. I know from personal experience.

Helen, thanks for telling me what to expect with their website. Far more restrictive and controlled than i am used to, not surprising.

Hi dennis

One thing about their board is that you have to do 'refresh' or your new post often doesn't show up...you might check whether that's what happened...it seems odd that they'd not put your post up. Maybe it was a once-off computer glitch. The way things go is, once a post is up, if a moderator objects, they'll edit it and/or tell you they did so. It would be odd for them to delete it and not tell you and I'm not even sure they have the wherewithal to prevent a post going up if you are a registered member.

But I could be wrong

This is the response i got:

Your registration request may not yet may have been approved by the Administrator or your posting privileges have been removed.
I really was pretty tame, but i disagreed with what most in that forum might say.

A lot of small boards need to have a moderator/administrator hand-approve your registration before you can post and it can take days for that process to take place. So I expect yours wasn't approved yet; that seems most likely in the case of the Cafe Boards.

You'll probably get some kind of e-mail notification once you're approved. Most boards do that.
