God is supra-biological. He is not asexual, He transcends sex. Technically "It" could be justified, but the flavour of it... (read on)

It doesn't to me. "It", to me, has pantheistic, impersonal connotations: that God is an impersonal mystical force identical to the creation. I believe God is a personal being, distinct from His creation - transcendent as well as immanent. To quote J Gresham Machen: "between the creature and the Creator a great gulf is fixed". "It" has an impersonal, pantheistic flavour, whereas "He" is warm and personal.

Again, a matter of flavour. God is the Father and Mother of us all, but I could never refer to Him as "She".

He is the Father, the Loving Light Being that all who die meet. All who die (and those who have come back from near-death attest to it) feel Him as a Fatherly Light, a warm and loving Light, a pure and All-Holy being.
