Census Says....

"The report also includes the government's first numbers on gay families, showing that one-third of lesbian couples and one-fifth of male couples counted in the 2000 Census have children at home."

More than I had thought!

Thank god for them Bible-Belt morals:

"The South has the highest share of unmarried-couple households with children and the lowest share of married couples with them."

I know one family I like to call the "post-nuclear Brady bunch": He owns the house and lives with his ex-wife, their kids, the ex-wife's girlfriend, and one of the girlfriend's kids. He's building himself a mini-apartment in the garage, and calls himself "Alice", since he likes to cook and seems to get stuck doing the laundry all the time. Oh, and he's bi.

I don't think that those figures are right in such a uptight, christian nation such as US, but if they are right, okay then.
